As Biotech has evolved as an important subject, there is tremendous increase in the interest in the subject and among the students as such, the strength has increased 8 – 10 times from 200 – 2008.

Extension and Guest lectures are conducted on important and latest topics in Biotechnology by Eminent professors from different universities. Educational trips to CCMB and IICT were also conducted.

To make the students capture the exiting developments and endeavours going on in today’s research in Bio technology and to be able to present their relevant knowledge in the form of a concise and comprehensible discussion during the interview in any of the Biotech Company / Industry. Genome sequencing utilizing r-DNA technology which represents another development that has revolutionized biology. The science of biotechnology is developing at such a rapid pace, our mission is to collect the latest information in the subject and explain to the subjects so that the knowledge they gain about the subject is useful to them when they go to attend interviews / projects / research works in any of the leading Biotech companies or industries.
