Quality is sine qua non for the effective functioning of any organization. Recognizing this, the institution strives to promote quality in all its activities to accomplish its mission of providing quality education.
The accreditation of the institution with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC in the third cycle of Accreditation stands testimony to this endeavour.
The institution continues to move forward in the path of Total Quality Enhancement It is in this spirit, that the Institution strives to adhere to the principles of NAAC and to achieve the standards prescribed by NAAC.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. IQAC is a part of the institution’s system and will work towards quality enhancement and sustenance. The function of the IQAC is to develop a system for consistent improvement in the overall performance of the institution.
The IQAC is operational since 1996.The IQAC has received financial assistance for the establishment of
IQAC in 2016.
The primary aim of the IQAC is:
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
