Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established MHRDs
Innovation Cell (MIC) to systemically foster the culture of Innovation among all Higher
education Institutions (HEIs). MIC has envisioned creation of Institution Innovation Council
(IIC) across HEIs to promote innovation in the institution through various modes leading to
promotion of Innovation eco system in campus.
Objectives:
- To nurture and prototype new ideas
- To interact renowned business leaders and top notch academicians
- To experiment with new technologies
- To visit new places and new cultures
- To conduct various innovation and entrepreneur related activities prescribed by Central MIC in time bound fashion
- To organize periodic workshops/seminars/interactions with entrepreneurs, investors , professionals
- To create a mentor pool for student innovators
