Scholarships

 

  1. National Merit Scholarship (NMS)

  A student who has earlier secured this scholarship during her study at the Intermediate level (on the basis of her SSC marks) may apply for its renewal during the degree course (on the basis of her Intermediate marks). Prescribed forms are available at the College Office for this purpose. These are forwarded to respective authorities by the College.

  1. Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Scholarships:

S.C. students (Sub-Caste Mala/Madiga) whose parents’ income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum are eligible to apply for the award of this Scholarship  up to the degree level.

For Post-graduate studies, and for professional courses the income limit of the parents is Rs.1, 00,000/- per annum.

  1. Economically Poor Persons Scholarship (EPP):

Students other than those belonging to SC/LBC/ST (OC category) whose parents’ income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

  1. Listed Backward Class Scholarships (LBC):

Applicants should belong to the LBC groups (A, B, & D) and their parental income should not exceed Rs.1, 00,000/- per annum (for non professional courses) Rs.1,00,000/-(for professional courses)

  1. Deceased Government Servants Children:

Children of the deceased government servants are eligible to apply for this Scholarship, together with details of their late parent’s employment, and a death certificate. There is no income limit prescribed, for this scholarship.

  1. Scholarships granted by the Central Government:
  2. Non-Hindi speaking students
  3. Physically Handicapped (Forms supplied by the D.P.I.)
  4. National Talent (Forms supplied from Delhi)
  5. Post Metric Scholarship for Minority Students whose Parental income does not exceed        Rs.1, 00,000/-

Note: All eligible SC/ST/BC/ Disabled & Minority category students have to  apply for Scholarships Online through e-seva or Internet Center.
