The staff and students of the Department of History on the occasion of "Centenary Celebrations of Vandemataram Movement" orgnaised a Seminar on 26th November, 2005.
The seminar was organised through Power Point Presentation prepared by Dr.Jaya Raghunath and presented by student. The partition of Bengal by Lord George Curzon and various stages of movement like Moderate, Militant and Swadesi Movements are discussed. Role of important Nationalist leaders , rejion of Bengal and Tourist Sites of Vandemataram Movement in India also discussed in this Seminar. The students of Tourism Course also participated in this Seminar. |
