Program Objectives

1. To empower students in English Language, cultural History and modes of communication both in personal capacities and organizational spaces
2. To enable students develop a holistic academic approach towards English Literature, Journalism and History
3. To train students as civil service aspirants, researchers, academicians, art curators, tourist consultant, journalists and content writers

1. Demonstrate knowledge of English Literature, History, Journalism as a discipline with all its elements and terminologies
2. Analyze theories, interpretation of literary texts, cultural texts, news both in print and online
3. Apply their expertise in the control of sentences, paragraphs, essay structures, report writing, historical and cultural research and analysis.
4. Create transferable skills- analytical skills, critical thinking skills, editing skills, presentation skills, LSRW skills, research skills which students can apply across industries
5. Evaluate and prepare for the practical uses of literature while appearing for competitive entrance tests in English, Journalism, NET, SET and Civil service.
6. Analyse the content of Television, Radio in the context of contemporary culture, society, history and economy
