M.Sc (IS) Programme is research oriented offered for the students who have completed B.C.A course only. Our college is offering this course from the year 2001 with an intake of 40 students. This course includes the Development, Research and Testing of theories and Programs to determine their effectiveness.
Our college has very good faculty members who are very much dedicated to their duties and they are very cooperative to attend to the students needs. The faculty is well experienced and well trained for this particular course. The management have sponsored them for many workshops conducted by the Industry and as well as University in the subjects like: Rational Rose, Artificial Intelligence, Data ware Housing and Mining, and Soft skills.
The management arranges guest lecturers for the M.Sc (IS) students by well experienced people from the industry and subject experts from various Universities, which help them to mould their career.
To facilitate the learning process APSCHE has provided with the subject wise CBT material to all the colleges who are running this course. These have helped to give the students a better perspective about the courses.
Our college management is first of the kind to sponsor the final year students to take up the live projects in reputed companies like Wipro, Sierra Atlantic, DRDL, MCH, Indian Satellite Research Center, NSIC, Informatrix Ltd. Etc.

We have a well-equipped Library with total of 655 numbers of books, which includes 52 titles and 603 multiple copes exclusively for M.Sc (IS). Our Library subscribes for the magazines like: PC Quest, Digit, Smart info, Information Technology, Express computer. It subscribes for even Journals like: Artificial Intelligence, Modeling And Computer Simulation etc.
This course includes the subjects like:
Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Software Project Management, Financial & Managerial Accounting, Advanced Operating Systems, Cryptography & Network Security, Software Reuse Techniques, Data ware Housing and Mining, Information Systems Audit & Control, Customer Relation Management, Distributed Systems, Image Processing, Formal Languages & Compiler Techniques, Embedded Systems, Human Computer Interaction.
These subjects are equally comparable with M.Tech Programme. There is one subject, soft skills, which is included to improve the students’ Interpersonal skills, which enhances their personality development, public speaking and group discussions. The students are supposed to give the seminar in every semester, which helps them to improve their Personal Skills. This is helping our students to organize and participate in IT meets conducted at the college level. They are groomed to actively participate in Paper Presentations, Seminars, and participate in the Inter College Competitions.
Results:
We are proud to state that our students from the first batch have 100% results in their first year, and their final year results are awaited. They have successfully completed their project work with help of our faculty, Programmers, and the guides from their respective organization where they have registered.
