ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

Objective:

• To introduce students to traditional and contemporary socio-political, historical, economic, religious and literary characteristics of different ages with a detailed study of literary forms of Poetry, Prose, Drama, Play, Essay.
• Language Study – to equip the students with written and oral communication Skills.

Outcome:

• Students will gain knowledge of historical origins of Literature and appreciate, compare and analyse the differences of each age.
• To apply critical and theoretical approaches to the reading and analysis of literary texts in multiple genres
