Faculty:
Dr. M.V.Lakshmi Devi, Reader and Head of Department of Sociology is having experience of 24 years of teaching.Her qualifications include M.A.,M.Phil.,[socio],LL.M. Ph.D., M.C.J., P.G. Dip.in Educational Administration.
She has organisied many seminars on social issues.A national Seminar on "Dimensions of Aging in India' is scheduled on 15th and 16th July 2004.She has participated in 47 national seminars and one International seminar. she has presented nearly 35 research papers, published two books, prepared study material for PG centre for Distance Education, Osmaia University, Dr, B.R. Ambedkar Open University, sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantha pur, and Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar Guntur. She has submitted a Report on " Status of Girl Child Labor in Domestic Sphere- A socio- legal Study"under UGC-Minor Research Project.

Mrs. B.Uma devi is having an experience of 11 years of teaching. She has worked as a research assistent in a Research Project on "Drug abuse, Drug uses and Drug preventive services" sponsored by the Social Welfare department of central Government
