Central Library

The R.B.V.R.R. Women’s College Central Library was established in the year 1958

The Central Library caters to the needs of about 2000 users comprising Under-Graduate students and Teaching Staff. The Library is the backbone of the Academic activities of the College and plays a vital role in teaching, learning and Research.

The Library procures and stocks, Books, Journals and e-resources to serve the requirements of Language, Arts, Sciences, Commerce, and Management subjects taught in the College.

Working Hours of the Library:

The Library is kept open on all working days from 9.00 A.M. to 4.30 P.M & on Examination Days from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M

Library Area:

Library Rules:

  • Each Undergraduate student is issued a Library ID card. The student can borrow three books on the card for duration of 2 weeks.
  • Books borrowed by the students can be renewed for another two weeks, if there is no demand for the same.
  • Students can retain the books they borrowed & return them after their Semester Exams.

A Seminar was conducted on  “Information Needs & Resources for College Libraries”.
