- IBS conducted Mock Test 2018-2019
As part of CSR ICFAI University – IBS conducted Mock Test on September 25th 2018 for BBM Final Year students (V Semester) for CAT Exam and two students who secured highest score were awarded.
- Industrial Tours:
An Education Trip to RBI was organized for BBM Final Year students on 27th September 2018.This trip educated students on various concepts & aspects of Financial Services and Banking. A team led by Mr. Sridhar at RBI shared information right from importance of an opening an Account to career and job opportunities in Banking sector. At the end students were also briefed on “FAME”
- Celebration of Management Day:
Department of Business Management(UG) inaugurated MTroops- Management Club on 21st Feb, 2019. It coincided with National Management Day. MTroops club started with the objective to help students gain not only knowledge but also practical exposure.
The BBM Department faculty and students named Club as MTROOPS with a tagline - league our own . The club was inaugurated in the presence of Principal Dr K.Sarada, Vice principal Achyuthadevi , Head of the Department Vamsi Mohana Reddy , as guests.All the faculty and students participated in activities. Case study, Guess the logo, which brand, and management antakshari .
One of the most important thing of this club is networking with people who share similar interests, because it gives the chance to explore possible career opportunities and learn what it takes to reach ones goals.
Management Club under the name “M-Troops” organized an activity on 23rd Feb. 2019 –Interactive session on “Inspiration to Eventex”
- Visit to Orphange(Outreach Program 2018-2019)
On Monday 22 july 2019, the M-Troops Club members visited an orphanage named “Bapist Orphange “that is located in YMCA as an outreach program.
The objective to visit orphanage was To bring a smile on the faces of orphanage children with a small effort and the presence of students it was a visit worth.
Children at orphanage were presented with crayons,pens, chocolates,chips,biscuits and books. They were encouraged them to workhard,study well and get to a reputated position in life.A visit to an Orphanage was a best experience as it was filled with emotions and sentiments. Students learnt that true happiness comes from giving. Helping others along the way makes one evaluate who they are. It was good exposure & an great opportunity.
- LIFE OF GIRL EVENT
“LOG” life of girl, is an attempt to create Guinness world records with more than 3000 girls doing a fitness activity . This event was aimed at emphasizing fitness for women security.LOG is an endeavour working towards making our cities safer for Girls and Womens.
On 30th aug 2019 the event was held at G.NARAYANAMMA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (GNITS) shaikpet,Hyd. Non-stop 90 sec jog to break the Guinness book of world record. There were approximately 3000 participants,130 volunteers And many organisers.
Girls from BBM of RBVRR women’s college also participated in that attempt as volunteers to make it successful.
Volunteering provided a unique opportunity for students during their time at university to make a difference with their presence as well as developing their skills. It provided a healthy boost to their self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction.
